I started teaching ESOL, Literacy and EFL in London in 2007 following the completion of the CELTA course. I later decided to study further and I first completed a BA (Hons) English Language and Spanish degree in 2011 then a Masters degree in TESOL in 2012 at the University of Westminster. I mainly taught exam classes for a few years after that (FCE, CAE, IELTS) and I joined the WLES team in 2016.
What I love most about teaching is the variety it brings every day and the opportunity it offers to meet people from different cultural backgrounds and to learn about their language and way of life. When I am not teaching, I am a mum to a wonderful, super energetic little girl who keeps me busy, so there's never a dull moment. In my spare time, which is scarce these days, I love spending time with my friends and family and whenever I get the chance I travel somewhere I have never been before or somewhere hot where the sun warms your skin and you can listen to sound of waves while lying on a sandy beach. Pure bliss.
